TSNY First Year Anniversary Celebration May 1

Just when you thought the combination of the Yards Park and the Trapeze School New York couldn’t get any more unique and fun, Sunday May 1st, the TSNY celebrates their one-year anniversary of full operations on the waterfront with a public festival and performance.  The Yards Park is such a great place to be, why not add in some free activities for kids of all ages on a spring day?

The free festivities will start around noon and will include face painting, balloon animals, juggling, rock wall climbing, and other “circus-related attractions.”  The outdoor trapeze rig will be in use for classes so the public can come watch what a beginner class looks like, and perhaps get inspired to sign up for one.  The day caps off with the First Anniversary Show at TSNY; doors open at 6:30 p.m. and a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase during the day at the festival.

For more information check out the TSNY website or attend the activities on Sunday.  There are sure to be a number of trainers and flying students there to answer your questions.

What time does the festival start? I see the show starts at 6:30, but what about the rest of the events?

Times were left off the press release, so I have a call into the contact there. Will post when I get an answer…

TSNY called me back and said the activities should start around noon. I’ve updated the post with that information.
