Katherine Howard grew up a Maryland girl who visited D.C. often with her family. She attended the Catholic University of America for undergrad, started teaching for DCPS, and recently earned her masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland. Katherine loves teaching and living on the Hill, and spends a lot of time with little ones tutoring and hanging out with family friends. An avid reader, writer, concertgoer, and daydreamer, Katherine is easily (and frequently quietly) lost to other worlds. Alternately, she is also usually up for anything and loves trying out new activities and places! She appreciates the opportunity this blog offers to blend a passion for reading and writing with experiencing all of the life on the Hill.
