On The Hill:

Jaymes Young is a Seattle born singer-songwriter rapidly gaining momentum in the music world. His most popular music video, “I’ll Be Good” has amassed over 20 million views on YouTube since its release. This alt-pop artist combines honest lyrics, polished vocals, and a chill, yet uplifting vibe to create an addictive sound. If you like artists such as Oh Wonder and Hozier, this is the perfect show for you. Young is on tour supporting his debut full-length album, Feel Something. The Rock & Roll Hotel presents local pop rockers, Sub Radio. This sextet is full of high-energy live performances and powerful vocals that have been compared to the likes of Walk the Moon and Two Door Cinema Club. Sub Radio has played all over the region while building up their fan base, including the Cherry Blossom Festival and Firefly 2017. Conor Oberst has had an incredible career and continues to create music for indie rock fans. He is most well known for his work in Bright Eyes and was once named the Best Songwriter of the year by Rolling Stone magazine. If you’re looking for some ska-punk and the crazy energy of a basement show, look no further than the local rockers in Kill Lincoln. Their music is raw, catchy, and unabashedly fun. Future Generations and Private Island will be co-headlining when they hit DC at the beginning of August. Future Generations is an indie-pop group formed out of Fordham University. They jumped right into recording after graduation and never looked back. Private Island is a So-Cal band that caught the attention of the LA music scene early on and has amassed nearly 3 million streams on their debut EP. Robb Torres, front man for alt-rock band Robbery Inc., is all about testing the limits of his music. Torres expands on his experiences in the band TRAPT and continues to evolve his talents.
