Charles Allen won the Democratic primary for the Ward 6 Council seat, beating Darrell Thompson in a competitive race. Since this is DC he will almost certainly be the next lucky Councilmember to represent Capitol Hill. He will replace the outgoing Tommy Wells who lost his mayoral bid to Muriel Bowser. Of course this is April and the general election is in November and no one is going anywhere until January.
Our own Tim Krepp appears to have scrounged up some write-in votes for Delegate to Congress. Not bad for a last-minute, lackluster campaign taking place entirely in this land of make believe we call The Internet.
Krepp’s next steps remain to be seen but don’t get your hopes up.
Like so many others, I am hoping I have heard the last of @Kreppmentum. But my hopes are not high about that.
