Capitol Hill has seen restaurant and storefront pop-ups, well add community forums to the “pop-up” craze.

This week the DC Department of Transportation is hosting a series of community meetings on street corners along the DC Circulator route. The goal is to gauge the bus line’s performance and hear from current and future riders.

Tomorrow, DDOT will be outside the Waterfront Metro Station, and on Saturday they will be posted by the Eastern Market Metro Station. Stop-by and give them your feedback.

You might win a preloaded SmarTrip card, and your input will help guide their DC Circulator Transit Development Plan Update. If you can’t make it in person, voice your opinions via their online survey.

Release from DDOT:

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is holding six Pop-Up Meetings to solicit feedback from current and future riders on the DC Circulator bus system. Attend one of the Pop-Up Meetings to provide feedback on the current system as well as future routes and extensions. The feedback from the meetings will be incorporated into the 2014 DC Circulator Transit Development Plan Update.

A survey to gather feedback will open April 22 on the DC Circulator website. Each participant will be entered to win a $50 SmarTrip card with a winner randomly selected after the survey closes on May 9.

Below are the dates, times, and locations where you can stop by the DC Circulator table to provide feedback. The same information will be available at all six meetings.
