By now, we’ve all heard the news and seen the images. A four-alarm fire has destroyed Frager’s Hardware. As the community comes to terms with the loss of this iconic store, fundraising efforts to support Frager’s Hardware and its employees is underway.

Together, two not-for-profit organizations, Capitol Hill Community Foundation and Celebrate Capitol Hill, are accepting donations for the victims of the Frager’s Hardware Fire. If you would like to make a donation now, you can follow the links above to each organization’s donation page. These two organizations are well established and have hosted fundraisers in the past for the Tune Inn and the Maslins and includes people who were involved in the Eastern Market fundraising effort as well.
Coming soon is a Friends of Frager’s webpage with consolidated information on upcoming fundraisers, a new Facebook page and other details that will keep you up to date on what’s happening with our venerable hardware institution and how you can help. Stay tuned!
