Yard Sale Post, from Trash to Treasure

This time of year, it seems like many people are either coming or going from our neighborhood and city.

In August, Congress empties out for recess . . . or maybe not, and staffers, students, and interns start the mass exodus and re-entrance to our city.

This annual migratory pattern can only mean one thing: yard sale season. Whether you’re buying or selling, staying or going, post information about yard sales in the comment thread here.

I’m, personally in the market for a gently used road bike.  Anyone out there who can help?

The guy who stole the gently used bike from our yard could probably help you out.

I’ve got a men’s Trek Hybrid 7000 from 2005/6 that needs a new home. Had a full workover last year. :)

Oh, and, Caroline, a middle-aged guy nonchalantly tried to steal my 2011 Trek 7000 from my yard last week. Said he was sorry when I caught him though. I guess there’s that.
