This Saturday, the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop has planned a very special event: ArtsNOW: A Community Moment with CHAW. If you’re already familiar with CHAW, or if you’re curious to see what they’re all about, this is a perfect opportunity to see in action their mission of bringing art experiences to the local community. This event is part of CHAW’s celebration of 40 years of bringing art of every variety to all ages. They’ve planned a year of even more exceptional activities than usual – like their kick-off off in January of 40 free events in 40 days.
Between 11am and 1:30pm Saturday, there will be an amalgamation of all things CHAW, from dancers and skateboarders to painters and musicians, coming together to celebrate. And, most importantly, there will a BIG event at 11:40am. It’s a flash mob-style activity that will require 1600 hands, so bring your digits to make this one-time activity a reality!
If all that isn’t enough, Ben & Jerry’s will be there with ice cream to fuel the fun. See you Saturday!
