Saturday’s forecast is predicted to be a sunny 50 degrees, with nary a cloud in sight. Why not leave all of the electronic gadgets that bind you behind and visit a place you may remember from childhood. The library! Specifically the Northeast Branch of the DC Public Library, which is having its 80th anniversary celebration and open house on Saturday. The branch, which first opened in 1932, will have several activities throughout the day, including story time for kids, a lecture about Capitol Hill history, and cake! Complete schedule below.
