Every so often we here at The Hill is Home like to help you, our loyal and busy reader, with some basic civic engagement. We know that you don’t always have time to attend office hours with your local community leaders, so we’re doing it for you.

Are you wondering when you can get your first bite at a Chipotle burrito? Where the heck did that Barracks Row clock come from? What’s in-store for this year’s Taste of 8th? Ask and you shall receive answers.

    What is happening with the Nooshi sushi and kabob place? Are they still opening? It does not look like much progress has been made on the building.

    There is a lot of new development, restaurants and others shops opening north of the freeway, but what about the Barracks Row corridor to the south of the freeway, toward the Navy Yard? Any news on development there?
