Only A Few Seats Left for "Fast Food" Beer Dinner

This Wednesday night at 6:30pm, The Big Board is collaborating with Chocolate City Beer for what might be the world’s greatest concept:  Fast Food Beer Dinner.  For $60 you get six wonderfully indulgent courses — including the likes of In-N-Out Burger “Animal” style fries, veal sweet bread “McNuggets” and braised beef short rib “Mexican Pizza” — combined with the perfect paring from Chocolate City. For the full details, see The Big Board’s Facebook event page.

This is a first for both The Big Board and Chocolate City.  The menu is courtesy of Big Board Chef Michael Lunsford and guest chef Blake Aredas from the Queen Vic with dessert by Kim Moffit of H Street Bakes.  Beer pairings are by Ben Matz, brewmaster at Chocolate City.  “We wanted this to be more fun and whimsical than a traditional dinner so we took our favorite fast food concepts and remade them in our own way,” explained Michael Lunsford.  “It also coincides with The Big Board concept of fantastic burgers and fries.”

To sign up, call The Big Board at 202-543-3630 for reservations.  According to Lunsford, he plans to do dinners on a “semi regular basis” so if you miss this one (which would be a shame) there will be other opportunities in the future.
