The tribe has spoken…well, tribes really. We’ve tallied the votes you the readers have cast, and our staff has agonized over our selections. Without further ado, here are the results of the 2011 THIH Halloween Pet Photo Contest.
Least-Like-the-Species Award goes to Skunk Dog, submitted by Sarah Allegrini. For her odorless portrayal of a skunk, Molly the dog wins a selection of Zanadoo dog treats, courtesy of Chateau-Animaux.
The Commitment to Costume Creativity Award heads to Bonnie and Beth Abelew for “Operation.” For the patience exerted by their two retrievers, they get to enjoy a $50 gift card to Metro Mutts.
The Readers’ Choice Award goes to “Cowgirl,” provided to us by Chris Blackshear and Pat Leitner. For their image they will receive a $25 gift certificate to Chateau-Animaux.
