Honfleur Gallery (Art at 7pm Music at 8pm)
In case you missed Honfleur gallery at the (e)merge art fair last weekend, head over to the
gallery this Friday to see new work by Cuban artist Gustavo Diaz Sosa. At 8pm, a musical
performance by jazz ensemble “The Connection will follow. Both events are free of charge.

Saturday October 1
The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) (7pm to 10pm)
CHAW’s annual ArtSmash Gala will take place at their Capitol Hill location off of Barracks
Row. The event raises funds for children’s to help off-set children’s tuition. The evening will be
filled with libations, live music and dance. Tickets are $50 in advance, $75 at the door.
Capitol Hill Arts Workshop is located at 545 7th Street SE
Sunday October 2
The Fridge (2pm to 4pm)
Take drawing lessons from DC-based artist Ben Tolman, whose latest body of work a few more
drawings… can be seen at the Fridge through October 8. All ages and drawing ability are
welcome. Supplies are included for a suggested donation of $20.
The Fridge is located in the Rear Alley behind 516 8th Street SE.
