Don’t have the motivation (or critical mass of clutter) for your own yard sale? I have just the solution for you: this Saturday the North Lincoln Park Neighborhood Association is hosting their yard sale fundraiser. From 9a-2p the triangle park between the 1300 blocks of North Carolina Ave and A St, NE, between 13th & 14th Streets will be a rummage-palooza. If you’d like to donate items (tax deductible) drop them off from 8-10a the morning of the sale (no magazines or large upholstered furniture). Proceeds go to the NLPNA for community-building activities such as planting trees and printing the neighborhood newsletter. They’re also looking for volunteers to help. For more info or to volunteer call 543-3512 or send an email with “yard sale” in the subject line.
Anyone else having a yard sale this weekend? Tell us about it in the comments. Happy hunting!
