By now you’ve certainly heard that the first beer brewed in DC in over 60 years is available at bars and stores across the city. DC Brau unleashed The Public Ale on the city almost two weeks ago and it’s been instantly popular. Want to sample the goods without leaving the Hill? You can do so at the following Hill haunts:
Argonaut, 1433 H St, NE
Capitol Lounge, 231 Pennsylvania Ave, SE
Chesapeake Room, 501 8th St, SE
Granville Moore’s, 1238 H St, NE
Justin’s Cafe, 1025 First St, SE
Little Miss Whiskeys, 1104 H St, NE
Lola’s, 711 8th St, SE
The Pug, 1234 H St, NE
Smith Commons, 1245 H St, NE
Tortilla Coast, 400 First St, SE
Schneider’s (300 Mass Ave) also had six packs of cans for one day, but I grabbed the last one last night to take to Dark Lord Day this weekend. They hope to be getting more soon. Happy Drinking!
Lola’s didn’t actually have it 🙁
Marvelous Market has it in stock. Be prepared, though, as the price is a whopping $12 for a 6-pack. But I think this initial high price is to help offset the brewery’s start-up costs.
I’m glad Justin’s carries it. Now I’ll definitely try it.
