The bargain-hunting folks at LivingSocial.com have decided to increase their offerings with new Instant Deals–coupons that are for day-of savings and for very limited timeframes. They kick off this program this week all over the city, with specials tonight at Pound Coffee ($15 to spend between 5:00 and 9:00 pm tonight for $10) and Rock & Roll Hotel. Sign up quick, though. Deals expire tonight! Tomorrow promises an official mega-launch of the Instant Deals with $1 lunch offers at establishments throughout the city, including eateries on the Hill.
And as if LivingSocial’s on-the-spot deals weren’t enough, online service GoFivo has also started offering deals throughout the city that can be acquired through alerts and text messages on your mobile or smartphone. These real-time deals are also available for limited times. GoFivo allows users to customize what types of deal alerts they receive based on types of service providers and neighborhoods.
