The annual Greater DC Cares Servathon is just two weeks away, and there’s still time to sign up! Every year, Greater DC Cares organizes a day of community service that brings together thousands of volunteers to help out at more than 100 project locations around DC, Maryland and Virginia. It’s a great opportunity to work with a great organization, meet new people, and help make an impact. Please consider giving a few hours of your Saturday on April 16 — registration ends on April 11, so hurry over to the site and sign up today!
A few of the projects that will be bringing volunteers to our neighborhood include Tyler Elementary, Stuart Hobson, the Trinidad Community Clean-up (near Florida Avenue NE & West Virginia NE), and Rosedale Recreation Center, just to name a few.
