Mad Men is so last year’s charity auction theme. Get ahead of the curve and join the River Park Nursery School at their annual Sock Hop and Silent Auction on Saturday, March 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. Your $30 ticket is good for the entire family, even family members who think poodle skirts and pompadours never went out of style.
The fun-filled, family-friendly event features music from the Singing Lizard, food, games and activities for kids of all ages.
If you are feeling feisty after receiving your DCPS lottery results, fight it out with parents over the terrific auction items from local restaurants and businesses, including Ted’s Bulletin, Chat’s Liquor, Spa on the Hill and Dawn Price Baby.
