Want to Get Involved? Here's Your Chance

Running out of ideas for combating cabin fever?  Neighboring Now Northeast has announced several volunteer opportunities in the neighborhood.  Sponsored by Greater DC Cares, Neighboring Now Northeast provides training and micro-grants targeted at projects created and led by members of the local community.  This month, they have both project planning meetings – where you can use your killer organizational and planning skills to get a project off the ground; and community-led volunteer opportunities – skill-building seminars and ideas in progress that need additional volunteers.  Interested?  Read on for details.  Know of other groups in need of volunteers right now? Share details in the Comments.
