First up on this month’s community meetings — ANC6B Retail Mix Task Force is hosting a panel discussion on liquor license moratoriums. ABRA Director Fred Moosally will join ANC Commissioners from Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle and Glover Park (neighborhoods that have experimented with moratoriums over the years) to discuss “the good, the bad, and the ugly” of liquor license moratoriums. This discussion will take place at Brent ES (301 North Carolina, SE) from 6:30-8:30. All are invited to attend and submit questions.
Another special meeting this month that many area parents will want to attend — meet with DCPS Interim Chancellor on Van Ness Elementary School. The meeting will be on Wednesday night at 6:30pm 6:00 pm at the Courtyard by Marriott at New Jersey and L, SE.

- Wednesday, December 8: ANC 6C will meet at 7pm at the Heritage Foundation, located at 214 Massachusetts Avenue NE. The full agenda can be found on their website. Also on Wednesday, the PSA 103 monthly meeting will be held at 7pm at Miner Elementary School, 601 15th Street, NE.

- Monday, December 13: ANC 6D will meet at 7 pm at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, 140 L Street SE, in the 2nd Floor Admiral Rooms. The agenda can be found on their website.
- Tuesday, December 14: ANC 6B will meet at 7pm at The People’s Church, located at 535 8th, SE. The full agenda can be found on their website. Also on Tuesday, the PSA 102 monthly meeting will be held at 7pm at the Sherwood Recreation Center, corner of 10th and G Streets, NE.
- Wednesday, December 15: The Eastern Market Community Advisory Committee will hold it’s monthly meeting in Eastern Market’s North Hall at 6:30pm.
- Thursday, December 16: The PSA 107 monthly meeting will be held at Liberty Baptist Church 527 Kentucky Avenue, SE at 7pm.
