We’ve gotten confirmation from 17 candidates so far from across Ward 6 and the Kingman Park neighborhood of Ward 7 that they will be with us tonight. It was a wonderful opportunity to talk about ideas for the ANC, perspectives on what works and what could work better. It was especially good to spend time with the learned Commissioner Campbell who has been at several of these events and always has a good story and a clear opinion. (I have not ever met his challengers at any of the meet and greets and I don’t think they were there tonight either).
