Weekend East City Event Round Up: H Street Festival Edition

Thursday September 16
Studio Design Art Gallery opens Latinic Thursday evening from 6pm to 10pm.

Honfleur Gallery invites artists to jump start their careers by consulting one-on-one with experts in various fields.

Friday, September 17
Gallery OonH will kick off the weekend with an opening reception at the gallery from 6:30 to 9:30pm. UPDATE: The Friday Gallery OonH event is a private party and was mistakenly sent out to the gallery’s press list.

Saturday September 18
Gallery OonH starts off the day during the H Street Festival with “Art Cars” and “The Way We Move”.  For a complete schedule of Gallery OonH’s events, click here.

During the festival, CITY Gallery will be open from 12pm to 6pm where “Night Goat and Other Flights of Fancy” will be on display. Artist Ellen Cornett will be in attendance.

When the Festival winds down, say you were among the first to see Camille Schefter’s work as she opens “Insoluble” at Studio H from 6pm to 9pm.

In case festivals and crowds are not your thing or if you enjoy contemporary Latin American Art, head over to the Brentwood Arts Exchange for a group show entitled “Cultural Crossroads” celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month.
