Feeling listless, mopey and like your life is missing a healthy dose of kickass competition, clever nicknames, short skirts, and gruesome collisions? Fear not, gentle reader: the DC Rollergirls are kick-starting their fifth season of brawls on wheels this October at the DC Armory!
The official season opener, this Saturday October 2nd, will see the Cherry Blossom Belles challenge two-time and current defending champions the DC DemonCats. Cheer on your favorite team or go for the first time and fall in love with the everyone-friendly, carnival-like atmosphere!
The DC Rollergirls season opener, as well as all other future dates, will start at 4 pm at the DC Armory (doors open at 3 pm). Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the door, and the pricing is as follows: $12 for ages 12 and up; $6 for kids 6 and under; and free for kids under 5. A valid military ID gets you in for $10.
