Pilates on Capitol Hill

September 10th, 2010 by Tory Patrick · No Comments · Capitol Hill North

In between the grand opening of Yards Park in SE and The Evolve Urban Arts Project opening reception this weekend, there’s another grand opening I’ll surely be at. We’re getting a pilates studio on the Hill! Welcome, Red Bow Studio.

The grand opening celebration at the new fitness studio is Saturday from 3-5 pm. They’ll be offering classes and a chance to meet some of the teachers. It’s a must-do this weekend.

What will Red Bow Studio be offering?

Featuring b.fit barre and Fuse Pilates, Red Bow is “a chic and cozy boutique fitness studio, bringing DC’s most intense, effective, and fun classes to Capitol Hill for the very first time!”

What’s b.fit barre, you might be wondering?

b.fit barre blends strength training, pilates, and ballet-barre work in a high-energy, core-strengthening workout that isolates muscle groups, using precise, targeted reps.

And Fuse Pilates  blends elements from Pilates, yoga, dance, barre exercises and core stability training. This hardcore fusion class is choreographed on the spot around three body parts as requested by the students. Red Bow will be the fourth DC studio to offer Fuse, and the first on the Hill!

Pricing information

Curious about prices? According to the website, a walk-in for b.fit barre is $22 and for fuse, $18. There are multiple packages available, including a monthly unlimited for $200 (good for both b.fit barre and fuse classes).
