As we discussed last week, it’s just too nice outside to do chores. So why not take a walk to 8th Street, SE, and have great fun, food and a healthy dose of history at Barracks Row Festival? Right now the cooking competition is well underway and there are heaps of free food samples; puppet-making and other crafts for the little ones; and a couple of great beer gardens (one of which is offering free jaunty little hats!)
