With the primary quickly approaching, it is time to start looking at the democratic candidates for Ward 6 City Council. On September 14, registered democrats will get to make a choice: Tommy Wells or Kelvin Robinson.
On Tuesday, August 24, come hear both candidates speak about issues affecting our community to learn a bit more about where they stand on various issues, and what they plan to do for the neighborhood. The forum will be held at 6:30 pm in the Southeast Library (403 7th Street SE) and hosted by WTOP Journalist Mark Segraves. The event is sponsored by the Capitol Hill Public Schools Parent Organization (CHPSPO), Eastern Market Metro Community Association (EMMCA), and Sports on the Hill (SOTH).
And after the primary– you still have another choice for the general. Jim DeMartino is the Republican candidate. http://www.jim4ward6.com
Absolutely! And after the primary, we plan to do a profile and Q&A of him so people can learn about all of their candidates.
