How is it August already and I have yet to have a single steamed crab or dipped even a toe into the ocean? I’m thinking it’s about time I put in for some vacation time! Oh right, I blew my vacation savings on a trip at the beginning of the summer. So does anyone need a house-sitter for their beach house?
This seems to happen to me every summer; I have these huge plans to take advantage of all of the great summertime events around DC — Jazz in the Garden, outdoor movie nights, biking, hiking, tubing, beach trips — and suddenly I turn around and summer is gone. I haven’t exactly been wasting my weekends on bad TV either. Too much is crammed into three months.
