Upcoming Community Meetings

It’s time again for the monthly ANC meetings, which is a chance for you to get the scoop on developments around the neighborhood, and to have your voice heard.  Be sure to check our Community Meeting Calendar for events each month so you can stay up to date with what’s going on around the Hill.

  • Monday, July 12: ANC 6D will meet at 7 pm at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church located at 600 M Street, SW.  The agenda can be viewed on their Web site.  Some items of interest include an update on the Mayor’s Fix-It-List, and several alcohol license items for Justin’s Cafe and the boat cruises.  Also on Monday, the H Street Main Street monthly meeting will be held at 7pm at 961 H St, NE, in the former branch bank building of Bank of America.
  • Tuesday, July 13: ANC 6B will meet at 7am at The People’s Church, located at 535 8th, SE. The agenda can be viewed on their Web site — some items of note include a presentation regarding Artomatic coming to the Hine School building, and consideration for a liquor license for Mi Vecinda Restaurant at 1129 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE (the location that was supposed to be Dolce).  Also on Tuesday, the Trinidad Neighborhood Association will meet at the Trinidad Recreation Center 1310 Childress Steet, NE, at 7pm, and the PSA 102 monthly meeting will be held at 7 pm at the Sherwood Recreation Center, corner of 10th and G Streets, NE.
  • Wednesday, July 14: ANC 6C will meet at 7pm at the Heritage Foundation, located at 214 Massachusetts Avenue NE.  Their agenda has not yet been updated but will be posted on their Web site.  Also on Wednesday, the PSA 103 monthly meeting will be held at 7pm at Miner Elementary School, 601 15th Street, NE.
  • Thursday, July 15: The PSA 107 monthly meeting will be held at Liberty Baptist Church 527 Kentucky Avenue, SE at 7pm.
  • Saturday, July 24: The PSA 105 monthly meeting will be held at 10am at 1100 New Jersey Avenue, SE.

    Please note that there is no meeting of the Trinidad Neighborhood Association this month. The chairman published a note here on the TrinidadDC listserv.
