Kick off your weekend early on H Street this Thursday at ARTventures, presented by CHAMPS, the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce. It’s a great chance to explore the art scene along the H Street Corridor (for free!), as well as a chance to enjoy discounts at a number of H Street restaurants. From 5-7:30 pm, twelve different galleries and art spaces along the H Street Corridor will open their doors to the Capitol Hill community for a special neighborhood art walk. Participants will each be given an ARTventures “passport,” to be stamped at each stop on the art walk. For every stamp received, attendees receive an extra 2% discount at any of eight participating restaurants that evening from 7-9 pm. Maximum discount is 10%. The Atlas Performing Arts Center is also offering ARTventures participants a 10% discount on admission to that evening’s screening of “The Women,” part of its Gay 101 film series.
