It really makes no difference if Mark Segraves or anyone else in the community "sees issues with safety, parking, use of the Parks and Recreation space, density in the neighborhood, and a lack of reach out to the community”.
The Public Charter School Board doesn't care about communities.

ANC6a found this out during a 4 1/2 year battle with PCSB over the location of a charter school in an unsafe and inappropriate location near Lincoln Park. There were no traffic or public safety studies required or done, even for due diligence by the developer.
The site did not comply with zoning regulation that the DCPS Facilities Office helped the Office of Planning to draft. The regulations had broad city-wide support, but were fought tooth-and-mail by PCSB which said that they should be able to make these decisions independently, regardless of community concerns.
The policy stated by the PCSB was that if the school could get a building/occupancy permit, they could do whatever they wanted.

Good luck, but you're out of luck. Tommy Wells knows this.
