The following meetings are coming up this week:
ANC 6D monthly meeting will be held at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church,600 M Street, SW, at 7 pm.
Lower 8th St. SE Visioning Process Meeting will be held at 8:30 am and again at 7 pm at The Peoples’ Church, 535 8th Street, SE. (Update: here is a link to the meeting agenda)
PSA 107 monthly meeting will be held at the Liberty Baptist Church 527 Kentucky Avenue, SE at 7 pm.

In case you were unable to attend last week’s ANC meetings, here’s a quick recap:
- ANC 6A – A few highlights: there were discussions about the problems with the vacant property at 1400 Maryland Avenue, NE; Mary Beatty suggested that the commission should consider a moratorium on tavern liquor licenses along the H Street corridor; and the commission voted to allow commissioners to testify in front of the D.C. Public Charter School Board against the proposed location of the AppleTree Institute, a public charter school, which hopes to open at 138 12th Street, NE. - ANC 6C – Highlights include: the approval for a liquor license for Ethiopic, which is slated to open at 401 H Street, NE; a discussion about the Union Station air rights development project for the 15-acre area directly north of the station; and a presentation on an upcoming development known as 2 M Street NE.
