It’s been quite a week around here with our first happy hour with our readers, some heated discussions in the comments section, rock-throwing kids making the news, a shooting that could have been a storyline in The Wire, and the biggest shocker: the Redskins actually won a game.  And here’s what some other area blogs have been saying about our neighborhood.

  • We Love DC helped spread the word that H Street Main Street is seeking residents to help develop a time line of the history, people, and culture surrounding H Street NE.
  • City Desk covered the complaints from some SE residents about a radio tower that was placed on top of the Polk Court apartment building on G Street SE.
  • Capital Spice reviewed Dangerously Delicious Pies and reported that while the H Street location will not be officially open for a few more weeks, they are taking phone orders for Thanksgiving for pick up at their future Hill location.
  • Voice of the Hill reported that H Street NE is being considered for historic district status.
  • JDLand gave us an update of the funding status for the third phase of the Arthur Capper/Carrollsburg project.
