Get in the Halloween Spirit at the Cemetery

Our official and jam-packed Halloween on the Hill Guide will be coming out next week, but until then we wanted to make sure everyone knew about a great opportunity to get into the Halloween spirit this weekend.

On Saturday, October 17 at 11am, 11:30am, noon, and 12:30pm you can get a special tour of Congressional Cemetery that will give you all sorts of scary tales of ghosts and the drama surrounding their lives and death.  Find out which cemetery resident haunts the Capitol Dome, who was famous for levitating grand pianos, and who was invited to dinner…as the main course!

The only thing that would make this tour spookier would be to have it at night…but I’m not sure that even I have the guts to walk around there after the sun goes down.

I went on this, and it was incredible. They’re running another one on Halloween day at 11:00 and 11:30 am.

  2. Thanks for letting us know! I’ll make sure the Halloween tour makes it into the To Do List for that week.
