Still no word about the schedule of events at the market reopening on Saturday. Neither Easternmarket.net and Easternmarketdc.com have any of the details.

Well, the day will surely start with digging out the canvas grocery bags, a big cup of coffee at one of the “strip’s” 5 caffeine dealers, and a healthy application of sunscreen. I’m looking forward to stocking up on some jamon and chorizio at Canales Delicatessen. I am curious to see if the lighting makes the food look as good as it did in the tent.
